Charleston Fishing Report 6/30/2011

by john on June 30, 2011

Just returned from a week in Florida and didn’t waste anytime trying some new techniques at the jetties. It worked out pretty well today. The big bass are obviously at the rocks. The trout bite has also been great, along with flounder and the reds inshore. I have also been on a great bite in the surf for those of you that like catching the big ones from the beach. Here are a couple of pics from the north jetty today.

Despite the rain the fishing was great today. We did 12 fish today between 8-12 pounds. We caught all our fish on DOA cal baits. 3 inch morning glory shad tails on 1/8 oz jig heads we the ticket. Super water conditions very slick and clear. Great day other than the cold rain.
