Charleston Fishing Report 3-8-2011

by john on March 8, 2011

Its amazing what a difference a day can make. Still a little breezy yesterday morning but the fishing seemed to really start picking up. At high tide early in the day we saw some reds feeding on mullet in the grass.A large fish ran up through the middle of some and sent some spraying across the grass. A nice sight after a long cold winter. Fished a good 10 hour day yesterday and found great fish all day. They seemed to be in a much better mood with our steadily rising water temperatures. Caught fish on a variety of things yesterday from ep flies, clousers, and black wigglers. I will say the water was a little of color yesterday but should improve as we get some calmer days. Congratulations to Seth on his first fish on the fly.

Charleston Fishing Report 6/15/2010

Fishing has been incredible the past few days. Had a great trip with Hugh Willcox and his friends yesterday. Boated 21 reds on live shrimp under corks. Good action at low tide in the afternoon. Thanks to the guys for a great time. Good fishing.
