Charleston Fishing Report 10/3/2011

Its feels like summer is officially over and fall is moving in. This marks a time for some of our best inshore fishing of the entire year. As the water starts to cool of the fish begin foraging for the winter. Big schools of redfish and trout will be feeding heavily over the next couple of months as the water temps start to fall. We are already seeing plenty of this action and the past couple of days have been awesome. Fish smashing shrimp and mullet against the bank, and large groups of birds following schools of fish. The Fall is a magic time. Surf fishing will also reach its peak over the next few weeks with the chance of catching fish in the 50″ class in the surf. Here are some highlights from last week.
