Charleston Fishing Report 4-17-2010

by john on April 17, 2010

Sorry its been a little while since my last report. Fishing has been steady the last few weeks. We have had some killer days with the reds lately. I have had a good mix of different anglers over the past few weeks. We have fished flies, bait, and a variety of plastics. The fish seem to be super keyed in on all the mullet that has been around and it has worked well as cut bait and live. That being said I am still sticking to the clousers a lot when it comes to the fly. The fish seem to be enjoying some brighter colors now to that the water is getting some tint to it. Looking forward to Cobia season it is just around the corner. I will run my first trip in the Broad Starting May 1. Still have a few days available if anyone is interested in a trip.
