Captain John Irwin

Captain John has been a guiding for over 16 years.  His love of fly fishing has carried him all over the world.
John now makes his home here in the South Carolina Lowcountry, where he has developed extensive knowledge of the area.  The  waters of Charleston have become his favorite fishing grounds for the year-round opportunities they offer to both fly and  spin anglers. 
John is an FFF certified casting instructor and he teaches the monthly fly fishing classes at The Charleston Angler. He has been with the angler 7 years now and loves  to teach new anglers as well as assisting experienced ones.
