Charleston Fishing Report 5/16/2010

Well it has been an amazing run of Cobia so far this year. Lots of big fish being caught and lots of fish being caught period. Amberjacks and spadefish are in as well and fishing good. Mackerel fishing has also started to pick up and will only be getting better. As far as the inshore stuff goes we have been doing great with the reds, trout, flounder, and sheepshead. Its shaping up to be a great start to the summer. Weather has been nice and the fish are cooperating.

Cobia fishing has been solid to the end of the week. Caught and saw many nice fish on the surface. Missed a couple but got a few nice ones over Thursday and Friday. Caught fish on Hogey lures in both black and white. We also used live greenies to pitch at fish on the surface. [...]
