Charleston Fishing Guide

April 2009

The ESPN Saltwater Series Mercury Redbone Lowcountry Red Trout Celebrity Classic aired this morning.  The October, 2008, event paired our Captain John with Mark Nichols, founder of DOA lures.  At 8:30 am today, ESPN2 ran a segment on the Charleston event, and interviewed Mark.  There were several clips of Mark and John pulling in big Redfish, and enjoying a great day on the water.

Captain Irwin is currently in Belize, on the annual fishing trip.  He has been pulling in some huge tarpon, and is still working on the elusive permit!  He will return this week and will soon head to Beaufort for Cobia season.  The cover story in Tideline  Magazine this week (”Catch More Fish”) features Captain Irwin in the section about the exciting cobia season approaching in May, and is a great source of information for those interested in cobia (http://www.charleston.net/news/2009/apr/07/co/).

Contact us if you would like to book a trip for Cobia in Beaufort- the calendar is almost full!john-beaufort-fishing-049 john@flyrightcharters.com
